Reid Squires Reid Squires joined the Stuppy family in 2009, after 25 years experience in district, divisional and national sales management with Benjamin Moore & Co.  He brings experience in problem identification and resolution, organizational development, strategic planning, and collaborative decision making.

As a native of North Carolina, Reid attended Appalachian State University on a football scholarship, where he majored in Recreation Administration and Sociology.

He was attracted to Stuppy because of the tenure and experience of the sales, engineering and operations staffs, and the overall quality of the people he met during the interview process.  Stuppy's industry reputation for quality and business integrity also made Reid know this was the right career choice.

"In my short tenure at Stuppy, we have implemented many changes to meet the ever changing needs of our customers and target audiences. The challenging economic climate and consolidation within our industry require that we retain the best business practices that have created respect for the Stuppy name while implementing ongoing continuous improvement to remain on the cutting edge."

Inside Sales Staff

Vicky Wantland - Sales Estimator
37 Years with Stuppy
Extension 3721

Vicky Wantland When her son was nine months old, Vicky decided it was time to return to the work force. In October of 1972, she joined the Stuppy organization. She began by assembling watering equipment and packaging nut & bolt boxes for 18' wide and 30' wide greenhouse structures. At the time, those were the only two sizes of greenhouses that Stuppy offered. By moving around in various positions within the warehouse, Vicky taught herself about the operation of the greenhouse equipment. In 1977, a position in greenhouse sales was made available. "Frank Stuppy and Linda Barnett brought me into the sales department. They taught me that the customer is always right. I've always tried to be the best help to our customers. Another thing that Frank taught me is that we are all in this together. Our sales staff has changed over the years but everyone has always been available to help each other in more ways than one in whatever is needed. I am now working with the third generation of Stuppy's since my beginning. Change is always required to keep ahead in the business. It is amazing how we have evolved over the years," Vicky Wantland.

As Vicky begins her thirty-fifth year at Stuppy, she is now the proud grandmother of two and enjoys every moment that she spends with them. She also spends time at local stock car track with her husband as well as time walking, reading, and sewing.

Lynn Kueker - Sales Estimator

Lynn Kueker Lynn began her career at Stuppy right out of high school in 1972 as a file clerk. Lynn has moved her way through many positions while at Stuppy from secretary for Frank Stuppy, Bob Beeler, and Linda Barnett before moving into an inside sales position. Lynn is currently a sales estimator and project manager for both Stuppy Greenhouse Mfg., Inc. and SGM Management, Inc. (Stuppy's construction management company.)

"Through the years, I have developed close working relationships with many of the other long time employees of Stuppy. We have all worked together as a family to make Stuppy the company it is today. I feel privileged to work with so many of the same people and the same company for so many years, "Lynn Kueker.

On the weekends, Lynn can be found spending time with her husband, family, friends, and especially her dog Bailey. She can also be found working on some new project in her yard and garden.

Tina Tilton As a new employee, I am very excited about integrating into Stuppy's excellent customer service department. I bring a positive and professional attitude with past management experience includ- ing starting and managing 2 of my own businesses; first of which was a new construction final clean company for more than 7 years and a graphics company that my husband and I started due to our sons baseball team needing game shirts. It just grew from there. My husband, John and I live in Kansas City, with a daughter, Bailey away at Stephens College in Columbia and a son, Shane who plays competitive major traveling baseball with the Barnstormers. I'm a native of California. Born and raised, but have been in Missouri long enough to know the rivalry between MU and KU.

Territory Sales Managers

Chad Barrow In May of 1971, Chad Barrow began a summer job at Stuppy. Over the next few years, Chad moved around the company from night shift warehouse manager, inside sales, to outside sales.

In June of 1975, Stuppy opened up the west coast as a territory for the first time. Chad readily accepted the challenge. Chad now resides in Lodi, California with his wife Andrea of thirty years and his two children Dana and Kyle nearby.

Chad is currently operating the states of California, Arizona, Washington, and Oregon.  Chad enjoys golf, vineyards, wine making, and has most recently added grandfathering of his first granddaughter, Lorelei to his favorite ways to spend his time.

Jerry Hains - NM, OK, TX
16 Years with Stuppy
Extension 2009

Jerry Hains Jerry Hains began his career at Stuppy in 1993 but he was certainly not new to the horticulture field. Jerry's grandfather was in the growing business for nearly eighty years. The family operation was expanded in 1915 when Jerry's father along with his grandfather purchased an existing greenhouse/florist business. Ever since Jerry was a young child, he could always be found in the greenhouses causing some sort of mischief with the staff.

Stuppy Greenhouse is a name that Jerry knows quite well as the greenhouses built for their business after 1972 were all Stuppy houses. Parts of the family business are still in operation today. When the sales position became, it seemed a natural transition for Jerry to make. Jerry covers the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.

Photography is Jerry's hobby and passion. He enjoys working mostly with digital photography due to being able to work with the photos by cropping and enhancing before printing. However, the real reason that Jerry prefers the digital camera over a film camera is that there is no chance of forgetting that there is not any film in the camera. How does Jerry know this? He has had a couple of moments where he thought there was film in the camera, once even for a wedding that he was shooting for a friend.
